Out of My Mind, by Sharon Draper Out of my mind is a book about a girl named melody who has a disability called cerebral palsy, which makes her lose the ability to use her muscles, move, or talk. Melody has a photographic memory so she is incredibly smart, but nobody knows. Then an amazing opportunity presents itself if melody takes it she could have the ability to talk and enter a competition that will make her strength shine but will her parents say yes. I would give out of my mind 4 out of five stars because it ends abruptly but the beginning is wonderful and it gets intense in the middle. by, R.P. Dear Reader, Out Of My Mind is a great book. It's about this girl named Melody and she can’t talk, walk, or write. But here’s the catch, she is very smart. She has photographic memory and she’s the smartest person in her school. She also finds a way to talk. And she makes a whiz team. I rate this book 5 stars and I think the appropriate ages to read it is 8 and up. Again, Out of My Mind is a great book and I hope you read it! By C.H.
