Are you interested in Alcatraz the world famous prison for getting the worst of the worst? The life of two kids that live on it? Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko is a great book.It clearly explains the characters and their personality. We would recommend this book be read by kids ages 11-13. But, if you are a advanced 9 or 10 year old you should try it to. Twelve year old Moose Flanagan and his “ten” year old sister Natalie have just moved from their old home to the 64 home on Alcatraz. Their Dad is working as an electrician and a guard at the Alcatraz jailhouse. He watches infamous villains Machine Gun Kelly, Roy Gardner, and the Al Capone. We are not lying, he watched the Valentine's day murder Al Capone. If you like historical fiction or if you want to try this is a great book. We like it so much that we would give it 5 out of 5 stars. Its that good. We hope you try the book! Have you ever been lost? Stellaluna is the story you want to read. Stellaluna is a book about a little fruit bat named Stellaluna who was separated from her mother. In the story Stellaluna an owl spotted Stellaluna and her mother. The owl attacked, Stellaluna fell out of her mother’s grip. Then she landed in a bird’s nest, she quickly adapted to the rules of the nest, and the food. Expect she still hung by her feet to sleep. Once Stellaluna was hanging by her feet, the little birds in the nest wanted to try it too. So the little birds hung upside down by their feet as well. When the mother of the nest came back she told Stellaluna and the little birds to stop hanging by their feet. The mother bird never allowed Stellaluna and the baby birds to hang by their feet anymore. One day Stellaluna and the baby birds were learning to fly. Once Stellaluna and the little birds learned to fly. Stellaluna and the baby birds flew away from the nest. Stellaluna and the baby birds flew until it was dark, the baby birds flew back to the nest. Stellaluna flew into a swarm of fruit bats, the fruit bats examined Stellaluna. One bat came to her and told Stellaluna that she was her long-lost mother. We feel that this book should be read by/to the ages 4-8. We think that this book should be read by younger children tan us. We feel like this book deserves 4 and a half stars. We hope that you read this book to judge the book for yourself. , Have you ever wished for something or someone come, but then wished for them to go away, but then regretted it? Then this is the book for you! I recommend this book to kids 4th grade and under for the liking of it, but for the reading level we’d say kindergarten and 1st grade. I give this book 4 ½ stars because although it was funny it is below 4th grade reading level. In this book, the main character is a goldfish. At first he is in an empty bowl all that there is in the bowl is water and some green pebbles and him. Everything changes when he wishes for roommates and gets some. Then the fish bowl just gets over crowded, and he (the goldfish) loses his mind. To find out what happens read the book Memoirs of a Goldfish. The book Memoirs of a Goldfish teaches us to be grateful for what you have because you’ll miss it when it’s gone.
